Phu Quoc island, Vietnam, will open in September, for fully vaccinated visitors.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, required local health officials to accelerate the vaccination campaign on the island of Phu Quoc. He intends that the island’s 178,000 population reaches a 90% vaccination by September and to open it to international travelers. From what is reported in the local news outlets, the openning will be much alike what Thailand implemented in Phuket and Samui islands.

Full vaccination will be compulsory, and more details will be released in the upcoming weeks.
